More than 800 experts from business, research, science and politics discussed technological solutions for an aging society at a recent AAL (ambient assisted living) conference in Berlin organized by the association VDE and the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF). In addition, the VDE has published a related book.

The AAL conference focused on concepts, products and services that leverage new technologies and social environments in order to enhance the quality of life for people in all stages of their lives.

AdvaMed 2012, the MedTech Conference, is being held in Boston, Massachusetts, one of the largest and most influential medical technology clusters in the world. The conference organizers are now accepting proposals for panel presentations from organizations operating within, or affiliated with, the medtech industry.

On March 7, 2012, the industry association Spectaris presents a conference on the topic “LED Light in Treatment and Diagnostics” at the facilities of Trumpf Medizin Systeme in Ditzingen, Germany.
